This is number 17 of the 35 built to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Range Rover – 36 if you include the prototype! In early 2025 Nick Hodgson, the owner of number 17, telephoned the Land Rover Monthly editorial office explaining that he was a great fan of The Dunsfold Collection and offering to donate number 17 to us, which he said was ‘dead’ on his driveway.

We were very pleased to accept and collected the L322 in March 2025. Philip had it running in no time and we began to research its history. Nick had acquired it from Buckinghamshire dealer Marlow Cars in late 2015 with 64,000 miles on the clock. Nick commissioned the bespoke Front Runner roof rack and unfortunately had the car repainted by someone locally in Romsey. It isn’t the greatest of paint jobs and we are debating whether to leave it as it is or try to improve it!

We were intrigued to discover that there were four previous owners before Nick and all the service stamps between 2007 and 2010 are from the main dealer in Łódź in Poland, followed by one in Brentwood, Essex, and two in 2013 and 2015 in Perpignan, France. It is one well-travelled Range Rover L322!

The L322 is steadily increasing in popularity and the 35th Anniversary Edition is highly sought after. We are delighted to add Number 17 to the Collection and grateful to Nick Hodgson for his generous donation.
