An early Series III Station Wagon that was supplied new to the Royal Corps of Transport in 1971. Underneath the camouflage paint is the original factory Bronze Green.

The vehicle still retains a lot of very early features. It spent its later years at the Museum of Army Transport at Beverley and was passed to the Collection from the REME Corps Museum Reserve Collection.

We assume by the evidence of a flashing beacon it would have been an escort vehicle for tank transporters.

In time we intend to put it back into Bronze Green.
