The Museum
Our museum building opened on 11th June, 2023 and provides a permanent home for displays of up to 40 vehicles on rotation from the 140 or so in the Collection’s care. The museum houses an unrivalled archive of Land Rover brochures, publicity material, manuals, handbooks, photographs, drawings and magazines, as well as a vast display of Land Rover memorabilia, over 2,000 Land Rover models and toys and a new Camel Trophy exhibit.
At the moment, the only way to visit the museum is to make a donation to buy a ticket for one of the Public Open Days, or arrange a Private Tour (see more below).

The event was really excellent and very well run. The tea and home-made cakes were a great bonus on arrival. Huge thanks to the lovely volunteer lady who served the tea and cakes she had made herself. All fantastic. The Land Rover collection was very good to see, so many interesting vehicles in the collection. Thanks to everyone involved at the venue and at RAC including Grace who was at the venue to welcome us.
On behalf of the members of the CVC Register who visited on Sunday I just want to say a big thank you. You can’t say Land Rover without saying the Dunsfold Collection! From turning the idea into a reality, the museum probably has the biggest, most wide ranging collection of Land Rover products in the world, and it’s a must see for any Land Rover enthusiast!
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Looking at the exhibits both outside in the car park and inside each of us had our own favourite, and we only saw a small part of the Collection of vehicles and memorabilia! Guess we’ll just have to make a return visit!
We are a group of u3a (University or the Third Age) members having particular interest in transport related items with most of us having driven Land Rovers at some time. The visit impressed us with the number, history, variety and uniqueness of Land Rovers on show, all being readily accessible close up.
The staff were very knowledgeable and very ready to chat and explain details of each exhibit. As a plus the tea/coffee and home-made cakes were a bonus.
