A sunny morning at the Sunday Scramble!
Tuesday 30th April 2019
Bicester Heritage held its second Sunday Scramble of the year on 28th April, and we decided to take along a few Collection vehicles to display. It was a good excuse to enjoy one of the most relaxed and pleasant old vehicle events in the calendar, and we were blessed with wonderful weather. Philip used the event as an excuse to dust-off BAC 779T, one of our 100-inch prototypes, for what was its first meaningful journey in many years. It performed faultlessly, and was a huge attraction. Also on display were our 1970 Press Launch Range Rover and Richard Beddall's early Discovery 3.
Bicester Heritage is, or course, the venue for the Land Rover Legends show on 25th and 26th May, where BAC 779T will be joined by fifteen more Collection vehicles to help celebrate the four very special Land Rover anniversaries which are at the heart of this year's Legends show: the Pink Panther 50th, the 100-inch 40th, the Discovery 25th, and the Range Rover P38A 25th.
We hope to see you there!
